The Nest 2024-2025

We have full day options!
The Nest, our afternoon program for those in our community who need a full school day.

The Nest takes place from 1 to 5:00pm each day following your child’s morning class of Chickadees, Sparrows, or Hawks. Children can stay for some or all of that time, and we are offering 2, 3 or 5 day/wk options. In the Nest, children will continue their explorations and nature-based child-led play. They will also be provided with a nap/rest period on nap mats in a nice shady spot. Of course, not all our kiddos are still napping, so those who are up and about can use this time to rest on the library blanket, read, draw, or otherwise take a little breather. Nest has spots for 15 children each day, with a 5:1 student teacher ratio.

After naps or restful play, teachers spend time with kiddos exploring any number of themes and activities: music, yoga, nature-hikes, art, creating foraged art, and much more!

Chickadees & Sparrows (1pm-5:30pm in Nest)

Hawks (1:30pm-5:30pm in Nest)
