Open House & Play Date at Northeast LA Forest School

Northeast LA Forest School warmly invites families with children 2 - 6 years old to our Open House & Play Date. We will kick-off the morning with a song circle. The whole group will then go for a short tour of our current base camp. Meet our trees, scavenge for weaving grasses, and introduce yourself to the birds. After our tour, kiddos and parents will have time to play in our wonderful space including our library, swings, play in our mud kitchen, and spend time by our "campfire" and playhouse. Our time together will end with a snack, story, and a short reflection circle. An organic snack will be provided. Parental participation and making a mess are more than welcome and happily encouraged!

You will have the opportunity to meet Director Becca Hackett-Levy, see our base camp, and learn about the program and philosophy.
